This website has been created by the Friends of the Heritage Village, an incorporated association that has been around for as long as the Heritage Village itself!
We love the Heritage Village and through this website would like to share our passion with you.
The Friends of the Heritage Village work in close cooperation with Rockhampton Regional Council, which owns and operates the Village. We have provided information here not only about the Village itself but also about the services it provides. The Rockhampton Heritage Villages relies on Volunteers to keep it running smoothly every day. Volunteers who help maintain the yards, cars, buildings, animals and also those who like to dress in period garments and make the Heritage Village experience an authentic one.
The Rockhampton Heritage Village Volunteers are known as the Friends of the Heritage Village (or the Vollies!).
