Timber Cutters Camp

Timbercutter-Shed

This Timber Cutters camp is the quintessential example of the many camps that were set up along the railroads. The purpose of these camps were to cut sleepers or slabs for housing. In the centre of the display area are various types of fencing used in the past. The Timber Cutters camp features fencing displays from the early 1800’s up to the 1960’s.
