Rackemanns Cottage

Rackemann-Cottage

Previously located north of Rockhampton at Ogmore, this cottage was a one-of-a-kind being built from rough-hewn slabs. This rather small 2 room cottage display was donated by the Rackemann family as a great example of the spartan conditions the pioneer families lived in, with a very basic layout and very little furnishings.
