This website has been created by the Friends of the Heritage Village, an incorporated association that has been around for as long as the Heritage Village itself!
We love the Heritage Village and through this website would like to share our passion with you.
The Friends of the Heritage Village work in close cooperation with Rockhampton Regional Council, which owns and operates the Village. We have provided information here not only about the Village itself but also about the services it provides. Markets couldn’t get any bigger than the Heritage Village’s. Every two months people flock to the Heritage Village to offer what they have crafted and grown. It is a great day where there is something for everyone. Rides for the kids, performances from bands, belly dancers, hot food and a great place to catch up and have a chat. Friends of the Heritage Village will also be out in period costume during the day, which will have you feeling like you have stepped back in time.
A gold coin donation is all it takes to enter the grounds on Market day and this donation goes towards keeping the Rockhampton Heritage Village maintained and running for everyone to experience.
